Mark Behm Model

Finally another update!
I modeled this guy starting in Silo, and finished in Zbrush. Mark Behm was kind enough to give me permission to model this amazing painting. Thanks Mark!

Hello Shane,

Great blog, I'm going to follow you!

I was hoping you can enlighten me about character modeling in ZBrush. In school I am going to make short film, and I want to model, texture and bump my character entirely in ZB. I also plan to draw my mesh directly on the sculpt afterwards. Is this ok for me to do? I'm sure that there will be hassles, so what should I keep in mind before sculpting like crazy? Another thing, in order to rig my character in Maya, should I sculpt the pose with arms straight out to the sides, or angled downwards.

Thank you, I appreciate your time!

Cool, man. Good to see that someone else updates their blog about as often as I do.

I started one about two years ago, with one great entry...that was it. A really good entry, however.
