Finally another update! I modeled this guy starting in Silo, and finished in Zbrush. Mark Behm was kind enough to give me permission to model this amazing painting. Thanks Mark!
Tried to add a bust. It's okay, but I'd like to make it less "chunky". Thanks again to Dean Yeagle for his design inspiration. I can't get enough of his stuff.
I'm loving Zbrush lately. After you get past the worst interface ever, it's very, very powerful... and fun. Anyway, here's my latest model. It's based off of another painting by Todd Harris.
Here's a cartoon Vulture I was playing around with. I'm not too happy with the coloring, and there's still a long ways to go with the overall design, but it's getting there.
Greetings all! I'm back from the abyss! I've been learning Zbrush 3, and I have to say, what a fantastic program! I've done a few 3DToons to get the hang of it. Here's a Camel. Original design done by Mel Milton. I'm not quite happy with the colors yet, but it will come with time.
First things first... To be honest... I've gotten a little burnt out on the pinup thang (for now), so she's been put on hold for a short while. In the meantime, I wanted to have some characters of my own to animate. I've been modeling some new fun little cartoon Fairies that were designed by Todd Harris.
I've been super busy lately, so work on the pinup has slowed a bit. In the meantime, here's my attempt at modeling Todd Harris' Sir Loin character just for fun.
