Hello everyone,
My first course just went live over at Digital Tutors!
Some of you have been asking how I create my digital sculpts, so I thought I'd make a tutorial to show you.
You can find it here.
Original concept by: Dean Yeagle
I'd love to hear any input, or any course suggestions for the future.
Thanks!

Dino Lunch Crunch
Today's Lunch Crunch I dedicate to my Dad for his Birthday! Happy Birthday Dad!
The original concept was done by the amazing Kevin Keele. This one took about 4 hours.
The file was getting huge, so I had to pause the time-lapse while I worked the mask for the scales. Also, I forgot to record the teeth process. Those are just molded spheres.

Dream Guardian

I'm loving Zbrush lately. After you get past the worst interface ever, it's very, very powerful... and fun. Anyway, here's my latest model. It's based off of another painting by Todd Harris.

I recently picked up a book to help me learn Zbrush. The first lesson is how to sculpt a lion door knocker. Here's my attempt.

Learning Zbrush 3
Greetings all! I'm back from the abyss! I've been learning Zbrush 3, and I have to say, what a fantastic program! I've done a few 3DToons to get the hang of it. Here's a Camel. Original design done by Mel Milton. I'm not quite happy with the colors yet, but it will come with time.

Fairies!!!
First things first... To be honest... I've gotten a little burnt out on the pinup thang (for now), so she's been put on hold for a short while. In the meantime, I wanted to have some characters of my own to animate. I've been modeling some new fun little cartoon Fairies that were designed by Todd Harris.

Hope you diggem,

My Attempt at Sir Loin
I've been super busy lately, so work on the pinup has slowed a bit. In the meantime, here's my attempt at modeling Todd Harris' Sir Loin character just for fun.
